Bitrix24 is equipped with a huge number of tools to manage your business. Without Bitrix24 partners, you probably wouldn't even know about some of those. But there are also those, that you use on a daily basis. For instance, one of the most important elements in any CRM system — Contacts.
Where is the client data stored?
Contacts allow gathering the full data package about a person, counterpart or a representative of one or another company. This data allows performing the client database analysis, store data and methods of communication for further convenient processing. That's not out of nowhere that the contacts are highly valued in any business area.
How to find it?
When you open the CRM tab, you will see the "Clients" field on the top panel, and when you click on it, you can select "Contacts".
Then, you will see the list of all the contact cards that have ever been added to your CRM. That is important, as the data is entered not only manually, but also automatically, thus, it takes effort to control the database information input. The basic data about the clients is stored in cards: last name, creation date, responsible employee, as well as client's history tracked through the end-to-end analytics.
You may find the search field at the top. It is convenient to use in case you need to find a required contact. The search process may be performed on the filled data fields in Contacts, such as phone number or e-mail.
When clicking a gear icon, you will open a drop-down menu with a set of tools for importing and exporting data. To find out the total number of contacts, click "Show the number" option.
How to add a contact?
Click on the green "Add" button. In the new window, fill in the information about the contact in the required fields.
You can set up a card in such a way, that it fits the requirements of your company.
Let's imagine a situation, that your beauty salons network is currently offering a discount for a man's beard cut. Thus, when creating a mailing list, it will be convenient for you to filter the contacts of male clients, while female ones will not get this message, as this offer is not interesting for them.
Actions that may be performed with a contact
There is a context menu next to every contact name. It allows performing such actions as editing, copying, deleting a contact, etc. There is also the possibility to create a deal, offer, invoice or even to add an event based on a contact directly from the context menu.
If you need to edit or delete several contacts simultaneously, simply mark them and perform the required action.
